Krystal Clark is a prisoner of the Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC), being held at the Women’s Huron Valley Correctional Facility. According to reporting from the award-winning podcast Turning a Moment Into A Movement, Krystal is suffering from life-threatening health conditions allegedly as a direct result of housing and living conditions–including black mold–at the Woman’s Huron Valley Correctional Facility, and the MDOC’s deliberate indifference to her known medical condition.
